Hello Beauties!!
It Has been a long time since I have posted my last blog. Today I am here to post a review on the newly launched Sugar smudge me not Brink OF Pink by sugar cosmetics. Sugar has come up with this smudge me not matte range which is the current talk of the town. I think this is the first smudge me not range so far. I was very excited to try one so I placed my order on the Sugar Website. This lipstick retails for Rs 499. However you can get some discount on the website. This lipsticks clam to be smudge proof and longer stay. There are total 12 shades. So I Am reviewing the Brink Of Pink lipstick and lets check out how is it.

If you’ve ever lusted for a “one-coat wonder” product for your lips, your search ends here. Get a full-blooded burst of pigment with just a single swipe of the SUGAR Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick that will stay the day and right up till the night! Wine, coffee & date-proof – this is a matte lipstick that is guaranteed to last longer that your longest day. Available in 10 stunning shades that will make it difficult to choose – the question is, are you ready to commit to a lipstick that is built to last?

They have around 12 shades in this range and I find the shades very close to each other and mostly in the house of reds and browns. “Brink of Pink” as the name suggests, is a very sober and a decent pink shade. It is not one of those “over the top” bright shades – a daily wearable shade that would suit all skin tones. I would call it a muted pink with blue undertones. It also has slight mauvish tint to it if you layer. It is an absolute matte shade with no glitter or glossiness at all.

Sugar smudge me not lipstick comes in graphic boxes. When you open the box you get a classy transparent plastic bottle with a black cap. You need to twist the cap to open it. The formula of the lipstick is totally smudge free. Although it takes time of 30 second to dry and mattifies after that. But you should have a good layer of lip balm underneath or else it will feel dry on your lips. Well, when i applied this lipstick for the first time without lip balm it felt so dry that i had to remove it and re-apply.

Smudge me not” liquid lipsticks are very close to being liquid in texture. They are not watery liquid but liquid enough for easy application. It looks wet and bright during application but then settles to a complete matte finish once it is dry. You may notice that it looks brighter when freshly applied. It does not tug or pull actually while application but I wish it was a little more smooth. Now, these do dry up quickly and so one has to be very careful while applying as any mistake committed would be a pain to rectify. It actually gives a powdery finish and look.

I am glad that Sugar has come up with this kind of formulation. It gives a perfect matte finish no doubt. But sometimes tend to be very dry and feels strechy. You must exfoliate your lips before applying this lipstick else it will become very dry and it will continue to bother you. Otherwise it is a good buy. I am totally in love with this lipstick.

My rating is 4.5/5 because of its drying nature. But still I like the formula and matte lipsticks are so much in fashion!!
